•ADPO, a prominent player in the chemical logistics sector, celebrated its 35th anniversary and did not want to let this go by unnoticed. Not by its employees, not by its business relations, and certainly not by the outside world and the press. Moreover, they did not just want to tell their story, but also to give even more concrete substance to their pioneering role in sustainability. They asked us to help them with this.
ADPO was already committed to sustainability before the term even existed. For their 35th anniversary, we engaged Forest Forward to create their own corporate forest, located near their premises. We helped organise the party – an event with 500 guests – right next to their forest. The Minister for the Environment addressed the audience with a personal video message. Of course, a strong press release was also drafted, interviews were arranged, and journalists were in attendance.
ADPO still has its own company forest in Stekene today, which the entire neighbourhood can enjoy. In addition, the company's sustainability story received extensive coverage in the press. The VRT programme De Markt devoted an entire broadcast to it, Trends published an extensive interview, as did Kanaal Z. The regional press also took a closer look. Moreover, the company video was widely shared on social media.
